The City of Corona Parks & Recreation Master Plan, adopted by the City Council in February 7, 2024, is a community-driven blueprint that establishes a unified vision for enhancing, maintaining, and expanding the city’s parks, trails, and recreational facilities over the next decade. Developed with input from over 2,300 residents, commissioners, and staff, the plan supports the City’s 2021–2026 Strategic Plan and outlines eight key initiatives: expanding the park network, upgrading existing parks, enhancing user experiences, ensuring equitable opportunities, improving recreation programs, maintaining assets, sustaining services, and implementing recommendations through accountability and partnerships. It includes a 10-year implementation strategy with prioritization tools, annual workplans, and funding approaches to guide future investments, and was created in alignment with the Trails Master Plan and City Park Master Plan to ensure a coordinated approach to sound infrastructure and community recreation.

The City of Corona Trails Master Plan, adopted by the City Council on February 21, 2024, is a comprehensive, community-informed blueprint designed to guide the development, improvement, and connectivity of multipurpose trails across the city — both natural and urban — linking local destinations, regional trail networks, and the Cleveland National Forest. Building on the Trails Inventory completed in 2019, the Plan outlines a strategic roadmap that specifies current trail conditions, desired future expansions, standards, trailheads, and supporting projects. Through extensive community engagement, including surveys, workshops, and input from a dedicated Trails Working Group, the Plan identifies opportunities to close gaps in the network, improve pedestrian and bicycle access, promote health and active transportation, and establish Corona as a regional “City of Trails”
