Eligibility Requirements
Organizations must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be a non-profit 501(c)(3), community group, or government agency
- Non-profit status will be verified through the IRS
- Must provide an Entity Status Letter dated within the last six (6) months (IRS, FTB, or California Secretary of State)
2. Must be based in the City of Corona OR have a local branch or verified non-profit affiliation within Corona
- Affiliated organizations must provide a written letter confirming affiliation
3. Events must support one or more of the following objectives:

Additional Considerations
Please note: The City discourages Co-Sponsorship requests if the Co-Sponsorship request conflicts with other approved Co-Sponsorship events, and/or the request conflicts with a City event.
City co-sponsorship shall be limited to “in-kind” donations of City services in lieu of direct monetary donations.
Examples of City in-kind support may include:
- Waiving permit fees
- Covering City staff time related to the event
Guidelines for Written Requests
Written requests should include:
- Event background and description
- Scope of activities
- Event significance to Corona residents
- Itemized breadown of event's total costs
- Specific City services being requested
To help you determine if City services will be needed and associated costs, please contact the Special Events Team, at Special.Events@CoronaCA.gov or by phone at 951-817-5755, or by visiting the Circle City Center (365 N. Main St., Corona, CA, 92882)
All applications must be received no later than 6PM on July 31, 2026 for consideration.
Please note that all written requests submitted by the deadline will be reviewed, but due to budgetary constraints, not all requests will be funded.
