Corona makes it easy to get your utility service up and running.
You can start service by contacting DWP Customer Care by telephone at (951) 736-2321 or in person. Once you have established an account, you can set up an online profile, view your account information at your convenience and take advantage of many other features available online
A new account set-up fee of $40 is charged on new accounts to offset the cost of establishing the account, which include creating accounting records, reading the meter and/or turning on the water service. The set-up fee is charged on the first utility bill of all new accounts.
An additional charge of $70 is incurred for after-hours service, or service that is requested to be turned on within two hours of the close of business. To avoid this fee, please allow ample time for us to start your service.
Once you’ve created an account, you may start or stop service in the same way:

Our Continuous Service Agreement lets property owners and managers maintain uninterrupted water service while a rental property is vacant. Get the agreement.
First, verify that you are within our service area.
If you are, then complete and submit the appropriate form to begin service:
- Application for the Establishment or Reestablishment of Electric Service
- Application for New Electric Service (New Construction)
