Retrofitting your existing sink with Laminar Flow Restrictors can save up to 7,500 gallons per device.

Automatically maintains conductivity of total dissolved solids (TDS) level.

Automatically maintains pH levels of re-circulated water.

Soil Moisture Sensors measure soil moisture content in the active root zone.
A sensor can be added to an existing compatible irrigation controller; however, it is not eligible for a rebate if the user already received a rebate for a Weather Based Irrigation Controller.
Rebates are not available for both the Soil Moisture Sensor System and a Weather Based Irrigation Controller. Resident must choose only one type of device.

Water Savings Incentive Program
Your property is unique; your water savings project can be too!
The Water Savings Incentive Program (WSIP) is designed for non-residential customers improving their water efficiency through upgraded equipment or services that do not qualify for standard rebates. WSIP is unique because it provides an incentive based on the amount of water customers save. This “pay-for-performance” design lets customers implement custom projects for their sites.
Any project that saves at least 10,000,000 gallons of water could qualify for WSIP funding. Examples of successful projects include:
- Upgrading existing irrigation systems or landscaping to improve water use efficiency for agricultural operations and large landscapes.
- Changing industrial process water system to capture, treat, and re-use wastewater.
- Replacing water-using equipment with higher efficiency models in commercial facilities such as kitchens or laundries.
- Capturing condensation and using it to supplement cooling tower water supply for increased efficiency.
To be approved for a WSIP incentive, projects must meet the following requirements:
- Save at least 10,000,000 gallons of water over the total project lifespan (up to 10 years)
- Cannot include new construction
- Cannot be installed prior to application approval
- Cannot save potable water by replacing it with another water source such as recycled or well water.
- Customers should have at least three years of water use history to establish a baseline for water use before project implementation.
- Project improvements should exceed locally-applicable water efficiency standards for the devices, products, or technologies being installed or implemented
- For Equipment-type projects:
- Operate at least 5 years
- Save water for the lifespan of the equipment
- For Water-service management type projects:
- Include third party contractual services for at least one year

Reclaimed Water Services
Make the switch to Reclaimed Water!
If your property is close enough to a reclaimed water service main line, your property could be eligible to convert your potable landscape services to reclaimed water. Email WaterRebates@CoronaCA.gov to see if your property could be next!
You may be eligible for grant funding, and we can help you determine your next steps. www.SoCalWaterSmart.com has an on-site retrofit grant program.
The On-site Retrofit Program will provide financial incentives to commercial, industrial and institutional property owners, including Homeowner Associations, who convert imported potable water irrigation or industrial water systems to reclaimed water use. This program provides incentives of $195 per acre-foot for ten years of estimated water use, up to actual retrofit costs.
This program works on a first come, first served basis. Applications will be accepted until funding for this program is exhausted, whichever is earlier. Applications received after program funding is exhausted will be placed on a waiting list for possible funding only if additional funds become available for the program.
In order to be eligible for this incentive, reclaimed water must be available at the project site at the time of application which will be determined by the City of Corona Utilities Department. In addition, you must abide by the terms and conditions listed in the application on the www.SoCalWaterSmart.com website.
