Zip Books

Zip Books at Corona Public Library!
Can’t find the book in our catalog? Request it through Zip Books and get it shipped directly to your home—free of charge! If approved, the item is ordered from Amazon and checked out to your library account. Read it and then bring it to the library when you’re done.
Starting September 1, 2025, the Book Request Program will allow 1 book request per patron per month. This change ensures that we can continue offering this service throughout the entire year with the funding available. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you discover a new read!
Please see the new Zip Books flyer for more information.
Who Can Use Zip Books?
To qualify, you must:
· Have a valid Corona Public Library card in good standing
· Have a City of Corona mailing address listed in your library account
· Request a book not available in the Library’s catalog
Don’t Live in Corona? That’s okay! Many California libraries participate in the Zip Books program. Visit the California State Library’s website to find a participating library near you.

New! Request eBooks & Audiobooks for Palace Project
In addition to print books, you can now request eBooks and digital audiobooks for the Palace Project app.
- Use the Zip Books Palace Project Request Form:
- Requests are then reviewed. If approved, the title will be purchased and added to the statewide Palace Project collection.
- You’ll receive an email when your title is ready to download. Be sure to check it out quickly—titles aren’t held for individual patrons.
- These requests are separate from print Zip Books and do not count against your print Zip Books limit or budget.
To read your requested title (and thousands more), download the free Palace Project app.
How to Request a Zip Book
1. Log In: Sign in to your library account through the catalog. Under the ‘Account Settings’ menu on the left, click ‘Contact Information’ and make sure your address is correct.
2. Request a Book: Click on the “Zip Books” link in the top menu and complete the request form.
3. Wait for Approval: Library staff will review your request. You’ll receive an email letting you know if it’s been approved or denied. If approved, you’ll get a checkout notice when the book has been ordered.
4. Watch for Delivery: The book will be shipped to your home. If it hasn’t arrived within 2 weeks, please call the Library at (951) 817-5705.
5. Enjoy Your Book: You may keep your Zip Book for up to 6 months. You may only have 1 Zip Book at a time (within a 30-day period).
How to Check In Zip Books
1. Bring your Zip Book in person at the Checkout Desk during library hours. Do NOT use the book drop. Zip Books turned in this way will be considered Lost.
2. Let staff know you’re checking in a Zip Book, so it can be removed from your account.
3. Zip Books must be turned in within 6 months. Zip Books are not renewable.
