Welcome to the Children's Room

The Children's Room is here to provide access to information, and to library materials and services for children from infancy through sixth grade and for parents, teachers, caregivers, and other adults who work with children. 

Homework Center hours:  Monday - Thursday, 3:00 - 5:00 PM during CNUSD's traditional track
On the lower level in the Learning Lab.  Middle & High School Student Volunteers assist children K-6 with their daily assignments.

  Baby Sign Language Videos

 

What is Baby Sign Language?
Baby Sign Language is a way for babies to express themselves with their hands.  It can be used as a bridge of communication for your baby while he or she cannot yet speak. 

A Baby Sign Language class is offered the 4th Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM in the Library's High Desert Room.
Stories and songs will help you and your child learn the signs.
