 Adult Reading Assistance

The Corona Public Library Adult Reading Assistance Program serves community members by providing free tutoring for qualified, English-speaking adults in basic reading and writing skills.  Students are matched one-to-one with volunteer tutors who meet with them at the library.

The program offers resources to assist adults in achieving their literacy-related goals. Fluent ESL adults are considered case by case; however, the primary purpose of this California State Library grant-funded program is to help those who grew up speaking English but ran up against roadblocks to their reading progress.

For more information, please contact  Ashley Arias at (951) 279-3746 (951) 279-3746.

For ESL classes, please contact the Adult School at 951-736-3325.  Or visit their offices at 300 Buena Vista Avenue, Room 207 in Corona.
