The Housing Authority of the City of Corona ("CHA") was created on February 16, 2011 and the Corona City Council acts as the CHA Board. The functions of CHA is to oversee the creation of affordable housing and preservation of the present housing stock within the City of Corona. The Board members are made up of City Council Members and the Commissioners are comprised of the Planning Commissioners of the City of Corona.

*Note: Corona Housing Authority meetings are held jointly with City Council meetings.

SECTION 8 HOUSING

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is administered through Riverside County Housing Authority. Information from Riverside County can be found here. 

RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM

The Residential Rehabilitation Program was designed to provide financial assistance low to moderate income households to rehabilitate and preserve affordable housing. These objectives will be met through the correction of building code violations and addressing health and safety concerns associated with their homes. All interested City of Corona Residents should review the program guidelines for eligibility criteria.
