The Board of Trustees is made up of five Corona residents who are not currently city employees or officials. They are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council to serve a 3 year term for a limit of two consecutive terms.

Meeting Schedule

Library Trustees meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Corona Public Library.  In addition, a Trustee is expected to participate in committees as needed, task forces, and attend library events and be an advocate for the library in the community.  A Library Trustee should be passionate about libraries and the values libraries uphold, supporting all those in their pursuit of lifelong learning without bias. Click here to access agenda and minutes.

I am a 55 year resident of Corona that attended local schools from Kindergarten through graduation from Corona Senior High School.  My first library experiences occurred in the children's basement section of the Corona's Carnegie Library.   I have watched Corona evolve from a small agriculture based economy to the dynamic business and residential center it is today.

Along with schools, our library is the most important institution in town.  It is essential for both the primary and continuing education of all who enter...As a frequent visitor, I am familiar with the library's valuable role in our community.  It is a pleasure to work with our library's dedicated staff  to encourage all citizens to participate in our many learning opportunities.

"Our family has lived and served in our community since moving here from Connecticut over 45 years ago.  Both my husband, Jerry, and I were teachers in the Corona-Norco Unified School District.  We also owned and operated manufacturing businesses within Corona for many years.  Not only was I a teacher here, but I also volunteered my time to serve for many organizations within Corona where I served in various capacities from committee chairman to President.

I have been past president of:  Friends of the Corona Library, Soroptimists of Corona, Woman's Improvement Club (Triple M) and various PTA Organizations.

I believe my presence on the Board of Trustees can provide an additional point of view based on experience in the private and public sector."
