Public Information Officers

The Public Information Officers (PIO) are responsible for the regular dissemination of public safety information about the City of Corona to the public.

The PIO Team serves as the organization’s official communication arm, responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and legally sound information to the public and media. The team manages press releases, media inquiries, social media messaging, and public statements while safeguarding investigative integrity, privacy rights, and operational safety. During critical incidents, the PIO Team advises leadership on communication strategy to maintain transparency, accuracy, and public trust.
