We will be making improvements in your neighborhood park!

May 1, 2024
Project Location: City Park 930 E. Sixth Street

The City of Corona will be performing some demolition work for the City Park Pool & Building Demolition Project. The work will occur over the next several months. After the buildings are removed, new irrigation and turfgrass will be installed.

Construction activities are expected to begin on Monday, May 6, 2024, and last through mid- September 2024. Project work hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION

▪ Project signs will be posted at the site.
▪ Fencing will be installed around the pool and surrounding buildings. Please stay clear of these sites – for everyone’s safety.
▪ The contractor will store and use heavy equipment to break down the pool and buildings and haul debris from the site.

The City of Corona appreciates your patience and support throughout the project. We understand that construction can be an inconvenience, and we apologize in advance. The City of Corona and our contractor are taking all reasonable measures to minimize the impacts to the community.

As a reminder, please use caution near construction areas, vehicles, and equipment at all times. We are committed to completing the project as quickly as possible; however, the project timeline could change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office. We appreciate your patience during construction and apologize for any inconvenience.
