The City of Corona once centered around our historic circle, Grand Boulevard. Unique in its urban plan, Corona, meaning crown, was a perfect one-mile circular town surrounded by lush citrus fields. The Grand Circle was the Crown of our City and the center for commerce and recreation.

But now, much of Grand Boulevard is blighted and neglected. It’s hardly a place we can call our “downtown,” and it's hard for us to claim the title of Circle City any longer.

It’s time for that to change. It’s time for us to transform the Circle into a safe, walkable downtown where we can spend evenings with family and friends.

Our City Council has recently adopted a comprehensive plan to transform our Downtown, and the first projects will start this summer.
