At the Study Session on February 27, 2019, Corona City Council heard presentations from the Corona Department of Water and Power (CDWP) and Southern California Edison (SCE) regarding the reliability/redundancy of the power provided to The Crossings and Dos Lagos areas.

SCE presented an overview of nearly $2 million of improvements they have completed in order to improve power service to the Corona system. Additionally, SCE proposed 3 funding partnership options that would provide reliability/redundancy in Corona's power grid.

Corona City Council unanimously approved $2.5 million dollars to proceed with the 33 Kilovolt (KV) Line Extension Option 2. The City of Corona is excited to get this project going. This will provide a solution to customers at Dos Lagos, The Crossings, and the community as a whole!
