FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION
Corona, CA — On October 4, 2026, at 9:27 p.m., Corona Police officers responded to the 1300 block of E. Sixth St., Corona, regarding a single-vehicle traffic collision.
Preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling westbound on Sixth St. when it left the roadway and collided with several electrical boxes and a light pole. The driver and sole occupant was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced deceased. Investigators believe alcohol and drug impairment may have contributed to the collision; however the cause remains under investigation.
The adult decedent’s identity will be provided by the Coroner’s Office pending notification of next-of-kin.
