Corona’s AMI Water Meter Upgrade Project Now Underway!

City of Corona – Utilities Department

The City of Corona’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project is now in active implementation across the community.  The City’s contractor, Professional Meters, Inc. (PMI) crews are replacing water meters and meter lids citywide, bringing residents upgraded technology that provides hourly water-use data, leak alerts, and a more accurate and efficient billing process.  Once your new meter is installed, you can log in to the customer portal at MyAccount.CoronaCA.gov to track your real-time usage, set custom alerts, and better understand your water consumption.

Residents will receive a postcard ahead of installation and a door knock the day of their scheduled meter replacement. Installations take about 15 minutes, and work is performed by PMI, who carry official identification.
