BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED
CORONA, CA– On Monday, August 28th, 2023, at 11:33 A.M., the Corona Police Department responded to the Chase Bank located at 140 West Ontario Avenue in the City of Corona for a bank robbery that just occurred. Officers learned the suspect passed a note to a bank teller and fled from the bank in a white Honda Accord with over $3,000 in cash. The officers identified the suspect as Muhammad Rahimi, a 35-year-old Corona resident.

On Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, Muhammad was arrested for the robbery in the City of Coronado by the Coronado Police Department. Corona Police detectives responded to the City of Coronado, took custody of Muhammad and his vehicle, and recovered the stolen money. Muhammad is being held on $30,000 bail at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Robert Presley Detention Center.
