Donations

Residents are welcome to make donations to the Corona Animal Shelter. Checks can be made directly to the Corona Police Comunity Partnership (CPCP). Their tax tax I.D. number is 33-0614431.

Animal Cruelty Investigation Update

On July 26, 2017 the Corona Police Department arrested a Bank Robbery Suspect that resulted in an Animal Cruelty Investigation (Please click here to view Press Release). Corona Animal Services rescued 35 dogs including 7 small puppies from a home with such deplorable conditions that no responding personnel had ever before witnessed something like it. Although these dogs are not currently available for adoption the animal shelter does currently have many that are.

Please see information below regarding the rescued dogs:

  • Dogs are currently quarantined while we get them fed, hydrated, evaluated, medically treated, groomed and bathed. 
  • Dogs will not be available for adoption until August 12, 2017
  • All dogs rescued from this incident will be available for a discounted $20 adoption fee which includes spay/neuter. 
  • Normal licensing fees ($15 annually) and micro-chipping ($5) still apply.

  • To donate toward the veterinary care of these dogs, please make checks payable to Corona Police Community Partnership and either drop it off at Corona Police Department or the Animal Shelter or mail it in to the Corona PD at 730 Public Safety Way, Corona, CA 92880. All donations will be tax-deductible.
