Holiday Lighting Celebration

Celebrate the season at the City of Corona’s Holiday Lighting Event on Sunday, December 7th, at the Historic Civic Center. Enjoy festive lights, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a special visit from Santa Claus. This free community event is the perfect way to kick off the holidays with neighbors and loved ones.

Event Highlights

Come out and meet all your favorite holiday characters! Bring your mittens and enjoy sledding in real snow. Take in jolly season with live performances by community-based organizations, and shop with local artisan vendors for stocking stuffers and keepsakes. Visit Crafters Village for festive holiday crafts and write a letter to Santa. Hop aboard the Holiday Express Train to enjoy the sparkling evening decorations. Be amazed by roaming holiday themed entertainment and so much more! This holiday spectacular is one you won’t want to miss.

Upcoming Spark of Love Collection Event

Sunday, December 7, 2025:  Corona Fire Department will be collecting toys for the Spark of Love toy drive at the Annual Holiday Lighting Celebration!

About the Spark of Love Toy Drive

The Spark of Love is a partnership between ABC7 and fire departments across southern California. Over the past years, the Spark of Love Toy Drive has successfully collected more than 11 million toys for underserved children and teens. The “Spark of Love Toy Drive” takes place in November and December every year. With love and support of donors and sponsors, kids across Southern California receive a new toy each holiday season.

Event Parking and Detour Information

Main City Hall Parking Lot (400 S Vicentia Ave.)

Handicap Parking available at the Vicentia Activity Center (550 S. Vicentia Ave.) and the corner of 6th Street and Buena Vista until the lot is full.

Traffic Detour Note: West 6th Street will be closed between Vicentia Avenue and Buena Vista Avenue during the event.
