Film Corona Process
The City of Corona offers a single point of contact for all film permits within the city. They will help you through the filming process. Download your film permit application and contact your production coordinator if there are any questions or concerns. Film permit applications will not be processed until all documents are received by the Community Development Department. Forms must be received at least two days, four days, or 10 days prior to filming depending on filming activities.
Why Corona
One might not equate Corona with the film industry. Historically, the City of Corona has made a name for itself with open space and agriculture. Today, the City is back on the map with its historic elements, upscale neighborhoods, beautiful mountainous backdrops and most importantly a Team that is willing to work with production companies as seen fit.
Corona rolls out the welcome mat to the filming industry by making it easy to work in the city. FilmCorona.com is a portal designed exclusively to make the process easy. The site is a comprehensive website that offers a location library, maps, permitting info and downloads, cost schedules (for budgeting purposes) as well as lists of local accommodations and services.
