Randy Fox was elected to City Council on November 4, 2014. Prior to his election to City Council, he was elected as the Corona City Treasurer on November 6, 2012. He currently serves on the Public Services Committee and has served on the Finance, Legislative and Economic Development (FLED) Committee. He also represents the City at the Riverside County Habitat Conservation Agency (RCHCA) and serves as an alternate on the boards of Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) and Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG). He is a Corona Businessman, a pastor, community leader, husband, and father of five.
After spending years working in the construction industry, Mr. Fox continues to be involved in real estate investment and development throughout Southern California. As an ordained pastor, Mr. Fox has led congregations in the City of Orange and Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles. His vastly different congregations with their diverse backgrounds have prepared him to serve people with a broad spectrum of needs. He also has a background in education, teaching at the college level both in the US and abroad.
Besides serving our community as City Councilman, Mr. Fox is an active member of the Rotary Club of Corona. He is the chairman for the Rotary High School Speech Contest and is a cook at the annual Corona Lobsterfest. He also serves with United Way, the Corona Chamber of Commerce and the Community Leaders Prayer Breakfast. He also won the Gold Medal at the Hemet OLDlympics in the Bench Press (360 lbs.).
Mr. Fox grew up in the City of Orange and has been a resident of Corona since 1998. He and his wife Karen have been married for 35 years. They have five children and four grandchildren. Their youngest son graduated from the Air Force Academy and is a pilot for the United States Air Force.
