    As of 4 p.m. this afternoon, all evacuations have been lifted for the Canyon Fire Burn Scar Area. This morning’s storm arrived later than anticipated and with less intensity. According to the National Weather Service, additional mild to moderate showers will continue throughout the evening.

    The NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch due to predicted heavy rainfall in the early hours of Thursday morning – Thursday afternoon meaning a flash flood is possible. Beginning today at 6 p.m., mandatory evacuations for the Canyon Fire area will be issued due to potential flooding and debris flows.
