The Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is currently accepting new members!


The Teen Advisory Council is a voluntary group of 7th to 12th graders who are committed to helping the library stay relevant for teens by developing and hosting programs, and promoting library services and materials.  New members are welcome at the general meetings which occur the 2nd Monday of each month in the Library Board Room from 6:30 - 8:00pm.  Planning meetings for existing members occur the 4th Monday of each month in the Learning Lab from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

The TAC plans and presents major programs at the library, including the annual K-12 Talent Show, the annual Games Day, the annual open mic, and most of the Teen and Tween Summer Reading Program events.

In addition to receiving community service hours for meetings and programs, TAC members can also receive letters of recommendation from library staff for their involvement with the TAC.
