Win $5,000 in Wildfire Protection: Take a one-minute Wildland Preparedness Survey

Post Date:05/21/2020 5:20 PM

Win up to $5000 in Wildfire Protection

Nestled at the base of the Cleveland National Forest, the City of Corona boasts beautiful landscapes and views, but also faces significant wildfire risk at the wildland-urban interface. As many as 15,000 Corona households are within an identified High Fire Hazard Zone.

Your Corona Fire Department is preparing to establish a Fire Safe Council made up of residents and fire officials to prepare our community from catastrophic wildfires. We are asking Corona homeowners to take a brief 10 question Wildland Preparedness Survey that will provide you with immediate personalized feedback! These survey responses will provide the Fire Department valuable information needed to move the Fire Safe Council in a forward direction.

Your survey response enters you into a drawing to win $5,000 in Wildfire Protection. Thanks to the Corona Fire Safety Foundation and BrandGuard Vents, one lucky Corona household* will receive up to $5,000 in material and labor for a soffit vent home installation. Soffit vents prevent flying embers from entering your home.

Hurry! Take the one-minute Wildland Preparedness Survey online TODAY at www.CoronaCA.gov/wildfire for your chance to win $5,000 in Wildfire Protection! Survey responses will be collected through Monday, June 8, 2020.

*Current City of Corona Employees are not eligible for prizes. Must be a City of Corona resident to win. Limit to one entry per household.
