COVID-19: Plan Submittals, Permits, Inspections & More!
The City of Corona is committed to helping our community keep projects and work moving even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Community Development Department continues to offer service and support via digital platforms and/or mail.
New Plan Submittals: The Community Development Department is now live with “ProjectDox” which allows users to upload plans for a digital review from all necessary departments. Submit your digital application online via Etrakit. Click here to view a user guide. Once submitted, a Building Division Permit Technician will review the application and begin the process.
Over the Counter Permits: Fences/walls, patio covers, panel upgrades, and other related permits can also be requested through Etrakit. Permit Technicians have been working closely with applicants to obtain the necessary paperwork and department approvals to process digitally.
Issuing Physical Plans: All plans submitted before the City Hall closure will also be processed. Staff will assess the required remaining fees, email the customer to make their payment through Etrakit (and any other requirements prior to issuance), and mail the plans to the applicant.
Resubmitting Physical Plans Submitted Prior to Closure: For projects requiring a resubmittal, the Community Development Department is working to allow those to be mailed in. No drop-offs are currently being accepted.
Obtaining Corrections & Redlines: Plans requiring corrections will be mailed out with any redlines, and the customer will receive an email with corrections.
