COVID-19: Skyline Update

Post Date:03/27/2020 12:00 PM

During the statewide safer-at-home order, all Californians, including Coronans, are urged to stay home and help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Due to the recent uptick of hikers during this COVID-19 pandemic, we must protect the health and safety of the public. Signs were posted at Skyline to urge hikers to use social distancing. However, because Riverside County, Cleveland National Forest, and the City of Corona believe the community must do more to social distance, Skyline is closed until further notice.

The City of Corona will be placing “No Parking” signs along Foothill Parkway and signage at the Skyline Drive Trailhead. We thank our community for their understanding and cooperation.

We understand exercising is important. Please find alternative ways to keep active while following social distancing of 6 feet. By adhering to social distancing, we can all do our part to protect ourselves and our neighbors.
