COVID-19: Reminder for Hikers

Post Date:03/24/2020 3:30 PM

On March 19th, California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statewide safer-at-home order to slow the spread of COVID-19. The executive order calls all Californians to stay home except for essential needs.

Throughout the order, the state of California and public health agencies encourage you to stay active while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Skyline is a unique area as it is falls in the jurisdiction of three different agencies including Cleveland National Forest and Riverside County.

We are all working together to remind our community of the importance of social distancing. Signs will be posted at the entrance reminding hikers to adhere to social distancing of 6 feet. We thank you for doing your part in helping to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The City of Corona encourages residents to stay informed by visiting www.CoronaCA.gov/COVID-19. The webpage includes regular updates, links to reliable sources of information, and guides on how to protect themselves and their families.

Please note, this is a rapidly evolving situation and information may change daily, if not hourly.
