We're Hot on the Trail of our very own Master Plan
Residents, you may recall, the City developed a draft Trails Master Inventory last year. Many residents participated in workshops, completed surveys, and engaged the online portal to provide lots of great information to help identify and document the locations of existing trails, trailheads, adjacent parking, and bikeways throughout Corona.
This year, the Corona City Council has authorized the creation of a Trails Master Plan. The goal of the Trails Master Plan is to guide the development of a connected, comprehensive, accessible, and sustainable multi-use trails network throughout Corona and to surrounding communities to improve health and wellness for pedestrians, cyclists, and trail users.
Join us for a Community Meeting
The City has, again, partnered with the planning and landscape architectural firm KTUA to develop the plan. Please join a community workshop to help continue the conversation. The first of two workshops is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Circle City Center (365 N. Main Street).
In the meantime, we encourage interested residents to review the draft Trails Master Inventory document on the Trails Master Plan website. We will ask meeting attendees to complete a questionnaire and share their ideas.
