School Threats to Centennial High School

December 6, 2019 

CORONA, CA– In the evening hours on December 5, 2019, the Corona Police Department along with School Administration from Centennial High School were contacted regarding rumors of a school shooting to occur Friday, December 6, 2019. After a lengthy investigation, the Corona Police Department Investigators found no credible threat to students. 

The Corona Police Department and the Corona Unified School District takes every rumor and threat to the safety of the students in the Corona Norco Unified School District seriously and will investigate them until all leads are exhausted.  This investigation was a good reminder not to spread gossip or rumors without knowing the source. If you See Something, Say Something. Report these types of rumors or suspicious behavior immediately to the proper authorities to investigate, instead of spreading on social media.
