Circle City Children's Choir: How Music Benefits and Enriches Our Community

Post Date:08/13/2019 10:00 AM

Kids have a natural love for music, singing, and performing. You’ve probably noticed even the youngest children enjoying and imitating song and movement. Isn’t it wonderful that something they enjoy can also enhance their development in numerous ways?

Choir gives children a sense of belonging while teaching the value of persistence, self-discipline, and cooperation. Children gain an increased appreciation of music as they learn basic music theory, performance skills, and simple choreography.

The City of Corona is fortunate to have a wonderful children’s community choir, the Circle City Children’s Choir. Founded in 2014 by Angela Rosser, the Circle City Children’s Choir is a music education program of the Circle City Chorale and now provides three levels of performance, open to children ages 5 and up.
