NASA Week at the Corona Public Library

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the first humans landing on the Moon on July 20, 1969 as part of NASA's Apollo 11 lunar mission. Celebrate the Apollo 11 anniversary by joining the Corona Public Library July 15-20, 2019 for a fun-filled week of NASA-inspired activities and events!

Week-Long Activities

Hallway Happenings: All ages are welcome to check out activities including coloring, challenges, and scavenger hunts in the Library hallways.

LaRS On the Go: Enjoy stories and crafts at local parks to create Shooting Star Dance Rings!
Monday, July 15 at Eagle Glen Park, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Wednesday, July 17 at Village Park, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, July 19 at Ridgeline Park, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Daily Activities

Monday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m. • Ages 10-17 can create clay satellites!
Tuesday, July 16 at 5 p.m. • All ages can enjoy a Arabic Bilingual stories and a craft with a space theme.
Wednesday, July 17 at 5 p.m. • Ages 10-17 can explore and create their own planets in the makerspace!
Thursday, July 18 at 2:30 p.m. • Ages 10-17 can create constellation paper circuits.
Friday, July 19 at 2:30 p.m. • All ages are invited to experiment, craft, and play in the Library’s makerspace!
Saturday, July 20 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. • All ages are invited to an Apollo 11 Celebration!
