Help Shape Corona’s First Inclusive Playground!
An inclusive playground is coming soon to Lincoln Park thanks to a matched funding grant from Kompan, Inc. and the Corona Parks Foundation. The inclusive playground will be the first of its kind in Corona and we’d like to hear your input to shape the design!
What is an inclusive playground?
Inclusive playgrounds are designed to provide a safe place where children of all abilities can play together and are developmentally appropriate for children with and without disabilities. An inclusive playground takes away the barriers to exclusion, both physical and social, providing a “sensory rich” experience for all.
Help shape Corona’s first inclusive playground!
You are invited to join the City of Corona at Lincoln Park (1810 S. Lincoln Ave) to discuss a variety of playground possibilities:
• Saturday, July 13, 10 a.m. at Lincoln Park
• Thursday, July 18, 6 p.m. at Lincoln Park
Come share your ideas as we transform the Lincoln Park playground into a new, inclusive space where everyone plays together. Help inspire the design that will keep kids of all ages and abilities occupied, excited and stimulated.
