Get Involved – Apply to become a Planning & Housing Commissioner!

The City of Corona is a community where people care - and we welcome your involvement in making our community a more vibrant place to live, work, and go to school. The City has various Boards and Commissions, made up of local residents, that provide input to City departments and activities. We are currently accepting applications for a Planning and Housing Commission vacancy.

Apply online now or at the City Clerk’s office located at Corona City Hall, 400 South Vicentia Avenue, Suite 155. Applications will be accepted now through June 28, 2019.

The Planning and Housing Commission is comprised of five members, all of whom shall be residents of the City and shall not hold any paid office or employment with the City..  The unexpired term for the unscheduled vacancy will expire December 30, 2020. Commissioners act in an advisory role to the City Council and make recommendations pursuant to California Government Code Section 65100. 

The Planning and Housing Commission meets on Mondays following City Council Meetings at 6 p.m. at the Corona City Hall. To learn more about the Planning and Housing Commission, please click here.
