Help shape the future of Corona's oldest park. Take a brief online survey...
Proposition 68, the California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection and Outdoor Access for All Act of 2018, was approved by California voters on June 5, 2018. Among other efforts, the measure provides grant funding for the acquisition, development, and improvement of parks and recreation facilities. We think Corona’s very own City Park could use some improvement and we’d like to hear your ideas!
The City of Corona held a community meeting to hear ideas on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. If you weren’t able to make it, there is still time to share your input online.
Consider these possibilities:
- Expand the park and build a senior/community center;
- Replacement of the existing pool with a state-of-the-art aquatic center with competition pool, interactive splash play area, and giant slides;
- A fitness trail;
- New playground equipment;
- Improved sports fields; and
- Additional parking.
These are some ideas we’ve already heard. What are yours? Take the brief survey and share your input. Click here to take the survey!
