LAB Holding presents a project conceptual for the Corona Mall
Corona, CA – The City of Corona was honored to host a presentation by the renowned developer, LAB Holding, LLC at the Infrastructure Committee meeting at City Hall on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
The purpose of the presentation was for LAB Holding, LLC to present a project conceptual for the Corona Mall located in the heart of Corona’s Downtown. LAB Holding, LLC has acquired roughly 50 percent of the retail condominiums within the Corona Mall District. These parcels are largely noncontiguous with privately owned parcels remaining making assemblage challenging.
LAB Holding’s Project Manager, Roman Ciuni, shared that LAB Holding’s already has several Letters of Intent secured for small businesses who are very excited to be a part of the project tentatively named Union. LAB Holding’s stressed that the project name may change several times before final adoption and formal marketing efforts begin. According to Ciuni, LAB is an acronym for Little American Business noting the firm specializes in assisting new retail entrepreneur’s in “setting their roots in a nurturing environment.”
According to the Director of Development for LAB Holding, Chris Bennett, the “Union” project will be developed in three phases each of which will be rich with indoor/outdoor elements, interesting and artistic pavilions, recreational elements, culinary hub, garden accents, two-sided retail activation for better retail exposure and uses that create synergy and a sense of place.
LAB Holding is known for projects that are always unique and intriguing, each unique to its community. LAB projects “include individuality of purpose (no formulaic solutions), historic preservation, environmental sensitivity and establishment of a permanent base within each locale for a mutually-beneficial long-term investment. To that end and to avoid conformity, LAB Holding does not rely on outside agencies or brokers for key operational responsibilities. Instead, LAB Holding trains and places its own staff on-site for the purpose of community relations and development, day-to-day property management and local business and tenant development” (source: www.labholding.com).
