Ladders and Linguine dishes up more than pasta while supporting the Corona Public Library
CORONA, CA– On Thursday, February 21, The Friends of the Corona Public Library will once again be presenting their very successful fundraising dinner called “Ladders and Linguine.” This fun event will begin at 6 p.m. at the library and will offer hearty Italian food served by our local Corona Fire Department, libations, opportunity drawings of themed baskets, good music and much more!
The Friends of the Corona Public Library is a non-profit organization that was established to enhance Children’s services at the library over 50 years ago. Since then, it has evolved into the library’s strongest financial support system. Over the years, particularly in the last decade when the budget was extremely tight, the Friends have provided over half a million dollars for books, computers, homework assistance, career planning and essential community programs for children, teens and adults. This past year, the Library was asked to reduce their budget and the Friends of the Library rose to the occasion and provided funding so that important library programming would continue.
Proceeds from this event will go toward library programming for all ages. We hope you will join us and be sure to purchase your ticket early as the event sold out last year. Tickets prices are $55 per person or $400 for a table of 8. Tickets are available in the Friends of the Library BookShop located in the Corona Public Library or they can be purchased online at:
The library is located at 650 S. Main Street in Corona, CA 92882
If you are interested in being a sponsor, donating items for a basket or have any questions, you can contact the event chair Terri Jaggers: firstname.lastname@example.org or 951-316-0018
