"BABY JANE DOE" FUNERAL
CORONA, CA– On July 27, 2018 at about 2:36 p.m. the Corona Police Department was dispatched to the area of Cajalco Road and Interstate 15 in Corona regarding an infant found deceased.
Upon arrival, Corona Police officers were directed to the location of the infant and confirmed the infant was deceased. The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner responded to the scene and took custody of the body to determine cause of death.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Department, the cause of death is undetermined and attempts to identify potential family members through DNA have been unsuccessful.
With the generosity of several organizations, funds have been raised to provide a burial service for “Baby Jane Doe.” The community is invited to the service which will be held on December 6, 2018, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Sunnyslope Cemetery, located at 1125 Rimpau Avenue in Corona.

The Corona Police Department would like to remind everyone that the City of Corona offers several Safe Surrender Sites where parents can safely surrender an infant within 72 hours of birth, with no questions asked.
