Corona's K9 Team Needs YOUR Vote! 🐾🗳
The City of Corona Police Department’s K9 Team has been nominated for the 2018 Aftermath K9 Grant and they need your vote to win!
Besides helping to locate offenders, the K9 Team is utilized to help find missing children, narcotics, and perform demonstrations at schools, hospitals, and other community events. K9s live with their handlers at home with their family which helps strengthen the bond between handler and dog. Handlers are responsible for the day to day feeding, exercise, medical care, training, and socializing of the dog with family and the community.
The City’s Facility K9 Team is still a pilot program which means it is mostly funded by handlers and their personal time. The team is asking for your help to earn one of eight grants totaling $16,500.
