From Rags to Riches, Never Giving up on your Dreams, Breaking the Income Ceiling, Negotiate on your Terms – these are all being covered at the 6th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference on September 14. Speakers representing diverse backgrounds will be sharing their successes. The Women’s Leadership Committee’s mission is to deliver an UPLIFT: Unify, Prosper, Learn, Inspire, Fulfill and Thrive conference to anyone in the community who wishes to attend this interactive and inspirational event.

Eldonna Lewis Fernandez offers leadership, negotiation and communication training to corporate clients and small business owners internationally. A retired Airforce Master Sergeant, she has adapted her training from the military into a common sense approach for sharing. Her personality and dynamic outreach will be Powerful…Genuine…Inspirational!

Andrea Gebhardt has risen above challenges as she ventured out from stability working for a school district to entrepreneurship, and has brought hope to many. Working through Javita International, a weight / health coffee direct selling company, she has touched many lives on her journey to financial success. She will talk about pursuing your dreams and moving beyond "content" to maximizing your potential.... weaving in pieces of her personal struggles and journey.

Diane Harkey represents the State Board of Equalization's Fourth District advocating for policies. These policies support job creation in the private sector, improve California's state budget outlook, and reduces the burden of complying with government audits and various tax regulations. Utilizing her expertise as a Public Servant (State Assembly, Mayor and Council Member of Dana Point, CA.) combined with her business banking (Vice President) knowledge to drive the policies that represent the constituents of California.

DeAnne Stidham as a young mom looking for a way to make extra money, crossed paths with a wholesaler who was selling name-brand children's party dresses for a bargain. Over the last 30 years, she evolved from selling children’s clothing to creating her own fashion empire. She has created ‘the best kept secret in Corona!’ – LuLaRoe. Her messages have been inspirational, and on point, basic business principles “I believe in you and you can do it!”

The Soroptimist International of Corona, a professional business woman’s service organization, will receive the UPLIFT award during the conference. Noted for their outreach and exposure to Human Trafficking – which is a nationwide epidemic, Soroptimist is making a huge impact in our communities. Soroptimists also work diligently in helping young girls make better choices through their Dreams and Decisions workshops.

The Chamber is proud to work with our partners this year to provide this Riverside County’s Leadership Conference: The County of Riverside and the CA State Board of Equalization. Without their involvement and support, as well as our other sponsors, the Women’s Leadership Conference would not be able to be this impactful.

Yolanda Carrillo, Executive Director for the Corona Norco Family YMCA, will be our Emcee. Yolanda oversees the 10 YMCA sites that take care of 1,500 young people daily. Yolanda is a motivated individual who gets things done. She is known throughout the Inland Southern CA area as ‘the go-to person.’ Her passion to advocate for young children is tremendous.

The conference will be held at Crossroads Campus, 2331 Kellogg Ave, Corona, CA. Ticket pricing is currently $45 however, use Promo Code: InnerCircle and you will receive each ticket for $40. Pricing increases to $65 on September 1. A continental breakfast is included.
