Inaugural Words with Wine Author Event at the Corona Public Library

Join the Friends of the Corona Public Library on Saturday, August 4, 2018 beginning at 7 p.m. when they welcome five-time Emmy Award-winning cameramen Luis Fuerte from Huell Howser’s California Gold. This inaugural event will feature wine, iced tea and a cheese, fruit and cracker plate.

“California’s Gold” was a television show where host Huell Howser traveled around California, showcasing the state’s history, landmarks, people and more. The show ran from 1990 to 2012 and continues to run on California PBS stations.

According to organizers, residents attending the event will have the chance to hear Fuerte discuss his novel, “Louie, Take a Look at This! My Time with Huell Howser,” which tells of Fuerte’s adventures around the state while filming the popular show with Howser, who passed away in 2013. The book will be available for purchase and signing at event. 

Tickets prices are $15 for new or current Friends of the Library member. $25 for general admission. Tickets are available in the Friends of the Library BookShop located in the Corona Public Library beginning July 1 or they can be purchased online now at
