Planned Edison Outage-- Infrastructure Maintenance -- Dos Lagos
Southern California Edison (SCE) notified the City that they will be performing infrastructure work to its electric system which will involve a power outage to your service location and is scheduled to occur on Sunday, 6/10/2018 at 11:00 p.m. to Monday, 6/11/2018 at 8:00 a.m. SCE identified a need to replace a service switch which is a critical piece of equipment in that system. This switch is a power delivery reliability improvement to the City’s infrastructure that services your area. As a result, they will be conducting a managed replacement before an unplanned systems issue occurs. If you are receiving this letter, your location receives power from the lines associated with the work being performed.
Please assess all power dependent amenities such as garage door and gate openers (know how to manually open them), alarms clocks, security alarms, medical devices, etc. as they will not operate properly or may have diminished function during power outages.
Providing our customers with excellent service is our top priority. We do apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.
