National Library Week
The Corona Public Library invites the community to celebrate National Library Week by joining free events! National Library Week is an annual observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.
The community is invited to take part in the activities throughout the week:
PACIFIC COAST PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS
Saturday, April 7 • Two Sessions: 7 pm and 10 pm • Adults 18+
Get an early start at celebrating National Library week by joining Pacific Coast Paranormal Investigations as they investigate possible paranormal occurrences at the Corona Public Library. Guests will join the investigators as they collect evidence and conduct field research throughout the library.
Pre-registration is free but mandatory. Space is limited. Please call 951-736-2404 or visit the Adult Info Desk to register by Friday, April 6. Due to the popularity of this program, participants may only register for one session. Join a special presentation from 9-10 pm by special guest and author of Haunted By History, Craig Owens. His book will be available for purchase and signing.
SPRING SERIES CONCERT FINALE
Monday, April 9 • 7pm • FAM Community Room • All Ages
Absolute Focus will perform Indian classical sounds. The hour-long performance will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
FAMILY AERONAUTS: RENAISSANCE EDITION
Tuesday, April 10 • 6-8 pm • FAM Community Room • All Ages
With hands-on crafts and experiments, participants will have a chance to learn all about the discoveries and inventions of The Scientific Revolution.
GAMES, A TRUCK, AND A GAME TRUCK
Wednesday, April 11 • 3-5 pm • All Ages
Enjoy carnival games, a gaming truck, and laser tag in the Citrus Courtyard and FAM Community Room. Don’t forget to vote for your new LaRS On The Go van wrap!
ART ATTACK (BAD ART & LIBATIONS)
Thursday, April 12 • 6-8:30 pm • FAM Community Room • Adults 21+
Get creative (without high expectations!). All art supplies will be provided. Wear that shirt your aunt got you last Christmas that you won’t mind getting paint on!

Friday, April 13 • 7-9 pm • FAM Community Room • 8-12 Years
Participate in a Scavenger Hunt and Team Puzzle based on “Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.” Participants will be split into teams and led by a Teen Advisory Council member throughout the library.

"REMEMBER WHEN..." CORONA COMMUNITY STORYTELLING
Saturday, April 14 • 1-4 pm • FAM Community Room
Share your memories about Corona by posting notes on our community timeline, creating a mini-book, taping a digital video, or presenting to the audience.
Pre-register for a presentation time by calling 951-736-2404 or visiting the Adult Information Desk. Presentations must be on any topic but must be appropriate for an audience of all ages.
Corona’s National Library Week is generously funded by Friends of the Library, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our Library in providing the best programs, services, materials and experience for Library visitors.
