“Movin’ to the Music” Free Interactive Workshop
Kids Rock Free School of Music invites the community to the upcoming Free Interactive Workshop, “Movin’ to the Music!" Families with children under age 5 and their siblings are invited to participate in an engaging workshop that will teach parents and children about music and movement. Funded in part by First 5 Riverside, this event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Historic Civic Center.
Research shows that music education enhances children's lives and builds academic ability, listening skills, and self-confidence. It is never too early to start. The professional instructors will lead you and your child on a fun journey of musical learning. Participants will learn creative ways to continue musical growth at home with our FREE take-home activities.
Following the workshop, families will be invited to attend the Winter Spectacular live concert in the Civic Center auditorium for free. For more information about this workshop, please call 951-735-2440, view flyer, or visit www.KidsRockFree.org.
