Remember the Holocaust โ€“ Kristallnacht Commemoration at the Historic Civic Center Theater

The City of Corona, together with Congregation Beth Shalom, is hosting a special presentation to commemorate Kristallnacht with Holocaust survivor Dr. Jacob Eisenbach. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Corona Historic Civic Center Theater, located at 815 W. Sixth St.

Dr. Eisenbach is a Holocaust survivor, captivating speaker, and author. His book, Where You Go, I Go, tells the story of two brothers clinging together for survival. Although Dr. Eisenbach was forced to work in a labor camp that manufactured munitions for the Nazi war machine, he has always maintained a contagious smile, ebullient optimism, and a belief that goodness prevails. Don't miss the presentation on November 13 to hear his story of survival.

About Kristallnacht
Kristallnacht, also known as the Night of the Broken Glass, refers to a devastating wave of violent anti-Jewish activities. Nazis in Germany torched synagogues, vandalized Jewish homes, schools, and businesses, and killed close to 100 Jews. In the aftermath of Kristallnacht, some 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and sent to Nazi concentration camps.
